Electronic Music/ Studio Recording Technique

Utilizing Drew School’s Facility to it’s fullest potential we will feature a series of courses in the Drew Recording Studio.¬†We will be running a recording session with a producer aimed at replicating the studio experience, playing with a drummer and pianist/guitarist laying down tracks and listening back to understand how recording can differ from live performances.

 

Chamber Music

This year a string quartet will be coming in to accompany the orchestra repertoire class. Bassist will prepare the orchestra repertoire in classes with faculty and get a chance to perform the excerpts live with the strings playing their orchestra parts.?

Bass Ensembles

All students will be placed into a small and large ensemble to perform with in the culminating concerts Thursday and Friday evenings
