Summer Study Scholarship Fund
In order to increase access to this wonderful faculty GGBCSF has assembled, we have begun the Summer Study Scholarship Fund. This fund will help to pay tuition costs for deserving students who would otherwise not be able to afford a week of study with these musicians and performers. If you are a fan of the bass, a fan of music education, a prior recipient of GGBC scholarships and want to give back, or simply want to support our efforts, now you can. No amount is too small or too large in helping us offer this camp to as many bass players as we can. We can say thank you in a number of ways for your generosity. All contributions are completely tax deductible.
1- For contributions of $50 you will receive a signed CD by one of our main faculty members.
2- For contributions of $150 you will receive a signed CD by one of our main faculty member and a signed copy of Stephen Tramontozzi’s editions of the Bach Cello Suites for Double Bass.
3- For contributions of $250 or more you will receive an invitation to a Evening Listening Party with the faculty during GGBCSF. This evening will feature food, wine and a wonderful casual environment to meet and talk with faculty.

Bass Evolution Hat- Randy Keith Memorial Scholarship
In 2017 the Bay Area bass community lost one of it’s beloved colleagues, Randy J Keith, after a long battle with lung cancer. Randy was a beautiful person and musician, a generous soul who was always there to help his friends, colleagues, and young musicians who wanted to learn more about the bass.
The Golden Gate Bass Camp and our non profit sponsor “Northern California Chamber Music Academy” have started a memorial scholarship fund to continue some of the work Randy always made a priority: educating young bassist who want to learn more about our noble instrument.
We have produced this Bass Evolution BaseBall Hat to help raise funds for the scholarship, and keep the memory of Randy with us. Randy was a very accomplished Bassist, but he also played Baseball (softball to be exact).
